What issues do you see as being most relevant to STSN members?
1. Education of providers, consumers and administrators is one of our most important goals. Everyone involved in STS needs to know and understand the goals, advantages and limitations of these services in order to choose and use them to their highest effectiveness.
2. Impartiality of information goes hand-in-hand with our goal of education and is another important issue faced by STSN. Unless we provide equal, unbiased and complete information about STS we will not be viewed by our audience as authoritative or reliable.
Please indicate goals that you would have for the organization that relate to your role in this position.
1. My first goal as Vice President is to support the mission and vision of STSN. I believe that STSN can become a leader in this expanding field by being a useful resource to our members and other consumers, providers and administrators. I am hopeful that I can provide guidance and assistance to the organization and its members that will fulfill the promise, mission and vision of STSN.
2. My second goal as Vice President is to support the President in the accomplishment of her goals for STSN. Within this goal is the desire to be a strong example for our members with respect to leadership, reliability, volunteerism, ethics, advocacy, impartiality and work-life balance.
